Part 61 + Part 141 syllabi, AC 61-65K endorsements, IACRA-compatible logs.
Most flight-school software is FAA-shaped. WingWrangler treats the regulator as a first-class field on every organisation — endorsements, recency rules, retention policies, and export shapes adapt to whichever NAA you fly under. Below is exactly what's shipped, what's on the roadmap with a date, and what's still planned. We don't claim what we don't do.
Part 61 + Part 141 syllabi, AC 61-65K endorsements, IACRA-compatible logs.
CAR 401.05 recency rules and bilingual record-keeping on the roadmap.
Recent licence-type reduction tracked; primary-airport awareness ready.
Part-IS ISMS module shipping in line with the PSOE 18-month grace; ECQB 2026 syllabi planned.
October 2025 split honoured; new PPL lessons (partial-power-loss, moving-map VFR) on the roadmap.
Part 61 reforms tracked; FSTD asset records and Privacy Act tranche 2 planned.
eGCA-compatible logbook export shipping; DPDP-aligned data handling.
CCAR-141 R3 ≥5-year archive + MLPS 2.0 alignment planned.
Foreign-licence conversion engine planned; APPI-aware retention.
PDPA + Cybersecurity Act alignment; EBT/KSA rubric on the roadmap.
Each row is a product surface. Each column is a regulator. Honesty rules: Live means we ship it today, Roadmap means it's date-committed in our tracker, Planned means we'll get there but no date yet.

Every WingWrangler organisation declares its civil-aviation regulator at signup. That single field gates which endorsement templates you see, how recency clocks tick, what your logbook export looks like, and which retention schedule applies — without you having to read a manual.
We chose this design because cross-regulator workarounds are how flight-school software accumulates technical debt. A school in Madrid and a school in Memphis shouldn't share a "logbook export" button that secretly does the wrong thing for one of them.
Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/203 is now in force for approved training organisations, with the PSOE model granting an 18-month window to reach Operational + Effective levels. WingWrangler's ISMS module — asset register, risk assessment (IS.OR.205), internal incident reporting (IS.OR.215), and NAA submission packets (IS.OR.230) — is being delivered along that runway. Phase 1 + 2 (registers and the incident workflow) target Q3 2026; Phase 3 (signed audit chain + EASA-format NAA export) targets Q4 2026.
Two explainers written from the CFR text and the FAA's own docket, with every load-bearing claim linked to its primary source.
The proposed two-tier QMS, the new SMS requirement, and where the FAA docket actually stands. WingWrangler ships neither a QMS nor an SMS; the page says so.
Minimum hours with the CFR citation beside each figure, stage checks, transfer credit caps, and what certification actually costs a school.
