1. Acceptance of Terms
This document is the Terms of Service for WingWrangler. We call it the Terms in the rest of this document. We call WingWrangler the Service.
When you use the Service, you accept the Terms. If you do not accept the Terms, do not use the Service.
The Terms apply to all users of the Service. They apply to organization administrators, instructors, students, and other members.
2. Description of Service
WingWrangler is flight school management software. The Service includes these functions:
• Aircraft scheduling and dispatch
• Maintenance tracking and squawk management
• Flight logging and record keeping
• Student training progress tracking
• Billing and invoicing
• Member management
We give you the Service "as is". We can change, suspend, or stop any part of the Service at any time.
3. Accounts
When you create an account, you must give us true, complete, and current information. If you do not, you break the Terms.
You are responsible for:
• Keeping your password safe
• All activity on your account
• Telling us immediately if someone uses your account without your permission
We can end or suspend an account. We do this when the account breaks the Terms, or for any other reason we choose.
4. Your Data
You keep all rights to the data you put into WingWrangler. When you use the Service, you give us a limited license. We use this license only to give you the Service and to improve it.
You are responsible for:
• Making sure you have the right to put data about other people (students, members) into the Service
• Keeping suitable backups of your data
• Following the data protection laws that apply to you
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data, except to give you the Service or when the law requires it.
5. Billing and Payment
We bill subscription fees in advance. We bill monthly or yearly, depending on your plan. You allow us to charge the payment method on your account for all fees that are due.
• We can change prices with 30 days notice
• We give refunds only when we choose to
• If you do not pay, we can suspend the Service
• Downgrades start at the next billing cycle
The Migration Grant program has separate terms. We give you these terms during the application process.
6. Aviation-Specific Terms
WingWrangler is a management tool. It is not a replacement for regulatory compliance. You accept that:
• You are responsible for all FAA record-keeping requirements
• Flight logs in WingWrangler do not replace official pilot logbooks
• Maintenance records must comply with 14 CFR Part 43
• Aircraft scheduling does not guarantee aircraft availability or airworthiness
• We do not give operational control or dispatch services for aviation
WingWrangler is not responsible for flight safety decisions, airworthiness determinations, or regulatory compliance.
7. Prohibited Uses
You must not use the Service to:
• Break any law or regulation
• Violate intellectual property rights
• Send malware or harmful code
• Get unauthorized access
• Interfere with the operation of the Service
• Resell or redistribute the Service
• Do any illegal flight operations
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WingWrangler is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes:
• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Service interruption or data breaches
• Errors in scheduling or maintenance tracking
• Aviation incidents or accidents
Our total liability for any claim from the Terms or the Service is limited. It must not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to protect WingWrangler and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees). These come from:
• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of the Terms
• Your violation of the rights of third parties
• Data you submit to the Service
10. Termination
Either party can end this agreement at any time. When the agreement ends:
• Your right to use the Service stops immediately
• You can ask for a data export within 30 days
• We can keep anonymized usage data
• Fees that are due stay due
• Terms that must survive stay in effect
11. Changes to Terms
We can change the Terms at any time. We will tell you about material changes at least 30 days before they take effect. We send you an email or show you a notification in the app.
If you continue to use the Service after the changes take effect, you accept the new Terms.
12. Governing Law
The laws of the State of Delaware govern the Terms. We do not apply the conflict-of-law provisions of Delaware.
We resolve disputes from the Terms or the Service by binding arbitration. We use the AAA Commercial Arbitration Rules.
